36 Software Release Notice

JSP error in InfoView Preferences

Environment: Windows

Symptom:

In InfoView when clicking Preferences, the following error appears:

An error has occurred: Unable to compile class for JSP

Solution:

To resolve this issue, apply the hotfix“ cabi33sp1hotfix.zip" at

ftp://ftp.ca.com/caproducts/CABI/CABI-3.x/boeXIR3_SP6/Windows/.

SpectroSERVER Known Anomalies

The following list describes known SpectroSERVER anomalies:

Lock File Cannot Be Deleted

Symptom:

When shutting down the SpectroSERVER on a Linux platform, the .VNMDB.LOCK file

cannot be deleted.

Solution:

When starting the SpectroSERVER from the Control Panel, click Yes in the dialog that

indicates that a database lock file exists. Confirm that it can be deleted.
